Intermitente is a motion design studio based in Lisbon, founded by two Brazilians who met in Rio de Janeiro in 2012 and spent the next decade building the kind of experience that only comes from working inside the machine.
Duda Asfora grew up between Recife and Rio, carrying the warmth and visual intensity of the Brazilian Northeast in everything she creates. She came to Lisbon in 2022, drawn by Europe's creative landscape, and stayed because it made sense. Professionally and personally.
Leon Vilhena is a Rio native, an artist and creative with over 20 years of career — someone who has spent two decades thinking about how stories move, feel, and stay with people.
They first crossed paths at Globosat in 2012, where Duda was designing broadcast identities and Leon was managing creative teams. Years of separate paths, shared references, and mutual respect later — in 2023, they built Intermitente together.
The idea was simple: take everything they had learned inside Brazil's biggest broadcasters and bring it to Europe. Not to replicate it — to evolve it.
From our Lisbon studio, we work with broadcasters, agencies and brands that want their visual identity to do more than look good. We build systems that move, scale and last — with the warmth of where we come from and the precision of where we are.
Brazilian by origin. European by choice. Obsessive about every frame.
