Intermitente is a small, focused motion design studio. We design and animate the moving side of a brand. A broadcast identity that has to run 24 hours a day, a social campaign that has to stop thumbs mid-scroll, a title sequence that has to feel like an event. Different jobs, same instinct: motion should feel considered, not bolted on at the end.
Founded in Brazil, now based in Lisbon, and it shows in the work: precise enough to hold up under scrutiny, loose enough to still feel like a person made it. Brazilians have a word for that mix of structure and improvisation: "ginga". We didn't set out to brand ourselves around it. It just kept showing up in the work anyway.
We only take on a handful of projects at a time. Not because it sounds exclusive on a homepage but because motion work punishes anyone who's distracted, and we'd rather do three things well than seven things fine.
