The Challenge
We were commissioned to create a unique identity for Inteligência Financeira’s podcast documenting the Plano Real's impact in Brazil during the 1980s and 1990s, translating a complex economic shift into an accessible and provocative visual language. The challenge was to balance the historical depth of the 90s with a contemporary aesthetic that could attract and engage modern listeners.
The Vision
We utilized collage as our core technique, layering economic icons and political figures to create a rich, multi-dimensional identity. The result is a "handmade" visual system that humanizes economic data and establishes an immediate connection with collective memory.
This method highlighted both the economic and social impacts of the Plano Real, showing how it stabilized the economy and improved daily life for millions of Brazilians.
Our design integrates various social and economic aspects, featuring images of the economists in each episode.
These collages illustrate the complexity of the Plano Real and the key figures contributions. Resulting in an engaging and meaningful identity, making Brazil's economic and social transformation accessible and interesting to a wide audience.
